Hi guys,
here is my next tool (the fist tool is the carmods editor, which is also in beta stage so far). This is an usefull img editor - an combination of spark and img tool. This tool can only be used with the GTA San Andreas archive format (no GTA 3 and GTA Vice City support so far!).
Here are the features:
- rebuild:
you can rebuild your img archiv.
- import:
the standard import feature. You can import one or more items into the img file.
- import and remove:
before importing, the tool checks if the item is already in the img archiv and delete it.
This is very useful, if you want insert many items, because you don't need delete the items by your self.
- export:
the standard export feature. You can export one or more items out of the img file.
- rename:
you can rename an item in the img archiv
- search
you can search for items inside the img archiv
- searchdialog:
this is very usefull! With this dialog you can search for files. It works like the window search.
You need just select the directory, and all *.txd and *.dff files, which are inside this directory will be shown you in an list. Then you can selected the items, which you want to insert. The search is recursive. The founded items will be insert with the "import and remove"-feature.
Changes since 1.0 Beta (ChangeLog):
- faster loading of big img archives (gta3.img)
- removed the "OK" message promt, when importing new items
- fixed a bug in search-dialog (the tool crashed, when you closed the search-dialog before the search finished)
- the search can now be aborted
- the progress when saving now will be shown correctly
- some resources-changes (toolbar-icons)
- rewriting the part of the code, which was responsible for the "import and remove"-feature
- generel performance improvements
- importing and exporting won't need so much RAM as in the Beta version
- some further improvements and checks |
